Almost everyone I’ve ever guided through this says the same thing after: “It’s not that bad.”
Result? The sensation shrinks. Or disappears.
Your brain learns: emotions are safe to feel. And you are safe in your body.
Most of us got sober to feel better—but feelings hit hard.
Alcohol dulled them.
Sobriety turns the volume up.
That’s not a bad thing.

Learning to befriend your sensations (instead of running from them) is how we stay sober, thrive, and build the bold lives we’re dreaming of.
