My first AA meeting

My first AA meeting (Alcoholics Anonymous first meeting).

Ug, getting sober and early sobriety can be tough so I thought I'd pull back the curtains a bit and share with you exactly what I did in super early sobriety.

Feeling some feels posting this, this is my first time mentioning on the internet that I ever went to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

But I also want to keep it real and so if you are wondering about AA meetings, or are in alcoholism recovery or alcohol use disorder recovery, you may be curious as to other people's first AA meeting.

I'm not recommending going or not going to an AA meeting.

And this is not necessarily first AA meeting what to expect, it's just MY story of what specifically happened at my first ever AA meeting back in October 2009.
