Not a disease. Not a spiritual malady. Not untreated alcoholism.
Just a different way of existing.
Yes, I had an actual drinking problem. But my Alcohol Use Disorder resolved a long time ago—I haven't had a drink since 2009.
What I was left with wasn't alcoholism. It was trauma and a divergent brain.
